If any of you know anyone who was on the old MDL, please contact them. Most of the people who didn’t make it from the old MDL to the new one didn’t reply to any of my messages/e-mails.
::If anyone knows how to get real women talking about their experiences on video, please let me know. I haven’t found a single woman so far who is willing to have photos/videos published, even with a face blurred.
Also, blurred face videos are much less effective at attracting attention.
::One thing I have learned from many years of experience is that men do not sell the site. I need a minimum 50/50 split of female to male.Another thing I’ve learned from experience, using real people is a nightmare. If I use three people (assuming I could get three volunteers in the first place) then within 12 months one of them would be demanding I cut their section from the video.
I’m stuck in a vicious circle here. The site desperately needs more people to be viable. These videos seem to have roughly doubled our visitors lately (it’s hard to be sure as I’m also pursuing 4-5 other promotion methods too). None of the current female members are willing to appear in videos/photos anyway. If I produce a video of just men talking, it simply will not work.
I’ve closed almost all my other sites in the past few months. I’m seriously considering shutting everything down and giving up.
The only reason there seems to be a focus on the generated videos is that nothing else gets much interaction. I try to start something like 10 conversations a week in the forums. Most of those are just me, nobody else joins in. I get no comments on most of the naked videos I post, and they rarely trigger a conversation. I’ve been trying not to post AMOC and SGC content (which I have a HUGE amount of) because I don’t think it suits the site any longer. If anyone posts in the forums, I try to reply, but it feels like no matter what I do, the momentum just isn’t there any more.
Building the Master Dare List has been a massive job (and still is) but it’s hard to be enthusiastic when I can’t see any interest in it. My main focus is the experiments (more coming soon) and getting more people to find the site. I stopped posting generated videos in the forums a couple of weeks ago, but now activity in the forums has dropped off a cliff too.

I’ve tried getting some sort of discussion going about how to handle the MDL, but no-one’s interested. I tried discussions on site layout, trimming features to focus activity, on helpful links and much more. Most of them got zero replies. Also, if I try too hard in the forums (like I have this week), it tends to look like it’s just me talking to myself and that puts people off participating.
There’s a plan for the generated videos, but it’s going to take a lot of research and practice to get there. The Flicking Channels videos have been one of the more popular things I’ve done on the various social media platforms, and it’s more effective to have a stream of content rather that post the same video over and over. The big advantage for me is I don’t have much time available and I can build the Flicking Channels videos from a byproduct of something else.
::In case you’re wondering why the resolution of the clips varies, I’m using a combination of several AI systems to generate them. They all produce different resolutions and frame rates.
::I find it’s worth clearly stating the accent you want (probably for each speaker separately). I usually end up defining everything. Leaving anything to chance more often than not produces random nonsense. One thing I’ve found almost impossible is having characters where one has one accent and the other one has another. The only way to do it seems to be separate clips using the final frame of one as the start of the next.
Voice intonation is hard to control, and not consistent. Also, when you’ve been trying to get a motion to work over 6-8 tries and when it finally works, the speech isn’t quite perfect, unless it’s unacceptable, I’m not going to keep trying.
I’m hoping to have the first NSFW Flicking Channels video ready later today. I should stress it won’t be full-on nudity (which is where I’m aiming to go) but the clips where there is unintentional nudity (where the AI made a mistake), such as missing clothing, nip-slips etc. There will be occasional full-frontal nudity in them but not a lot.
::If I used the word “naked” in the script, it increases the chance of being “moderated” hugely. The silly thing is the AI is fully aware of what I’m trying to get the “actors” to say but there seems to be some sort of simply keyword filter which doesn’t get it. The moderation is clearly a multi-level filter system.
What’s amazing is that sometimes the clip I’m prompting doesn’t include any problem words or obscured nudity and the AI produces full frontal nudity. It’s rare, but it happens. The filters are not very accurate.
::I’m doing a range of things to increase the number of visitors to this community and the first promo video seemed to cause an upward bump in the figures. I probably shouldn’t be so lacking in confidence that the new one is both better and doesn’t require any changes. I’ll try it instead of the first one.
::Sadly not quite gaining momentum, but I verified one person per day for the past three days so it hasn’t stopped. I try to be online regularly every weekday morning. I’m on at many other times too, but I figure a regular window gives everyone a target to aim for. The problem is life is busy and, as I’m still very much recovering I have a couple of medical appointments each week and they tend to be in the morning.
It will get better, as will I.
::Well, you’ve probably noticed two more additions to the Master Dare List results table, but sadly we lost a LOT of participants in the site move.
I’ve updated the results page a few times recently and have been working on how to display the photos etc. Obviously, any nudity must be behind the age-verification wall, but I’m keeping the results completely free (ie not Patrons only). It looks like the best way will be to have a results page per participant.
::Just uploaded another “Flicking Channels” video on the dedicated page:
I won’t be posting them directly in the forum.
::I’m wondering about adding Opera to the links page. Given the OSA here in the UK, I suspect it would be useful for many people.
::Here’s the second version:
If I had a proper budget, I could do this SO much better. Working in FullHD (for the original clips and images) would enhance the finished image quality hugely and make it much harder to tell it’s generated and not real. I think I’m getting better at scripting the acting of the people but I could SO much more with a budget. I’d love to have a go at producing a generated recreation of one of the real life experiments but doing it the way I’m working now would probably take months.
Anyway, what do you think of what I’ve got so far?
::It will take a few days to put it together, but I’m slowly working on another version of the advertising video. I figure the better it is, the more people it might attract to our community. Right now, we need as many as we can get.
::Mine’s using the North American location but I don’t get anything like that speed through it (Without the VPN I get 250-300Mbps).
::It seems when it goes to the sales page for the paid VPN, just close the page and the free VPN is there working anyway. I think they’re pushing hard to get everyone onto the paid service.
The free one is very slow (around 50-100kps) but it works. Thanks!
::I’ve reinstalled it. It tells me the VPN needs to be switched on, but pressing the on button on the VPN control pane just gives the message “VPN unavailable”.
::There is a VPN button but when you press it it takes you to a pay to choose the plan and pay. There was no free option.
::Would it be reasonable to hold a vote-off event specifically to raise money for video generation credits (probably with Pollo.ai)?
I don’t think an event would work until we’ve got more regulars, but it’s probably more realistic than attempting to increase the number of Patrons by around 50-60.
::The Flicking Channels videos don’t really have a story (but they do have some recurring themes), so it’s less obvious with those.
::I’ve uploaded the next one (on the Flicking Channels page.) The NSFW one is going to need a new page in the age-restricted area. There isn’t a lot of nudity in it, but too much for the public area.
::I should upload the next two “Flicking Channels” videos and I’ve got a NSFW version too, if anyone’s interested?
::I think I would struggle to faithfully follow a story which hasn’t been structured to fit with the video generation workflow. Also, male nudity is particularly expensive on credits (about 8x I reckon).
::Maybe I should come up with some potential projects and find out from community members which are the most popular ideas?
::I wish I could claim credit but about 98% of the effort is external. I just craft the prompts and put the results together in my video editor. When I’m let loose again with one that supports unrestricted nudity, MANY things will become possible.
I’m hoping to use what’s available in the meantime to drastically increase community membership so I can ultimately raise enough money to buy a month or two of credits to do more extravagant (and naked) projects.
::Essentially I forgot to add it. But I’m not sure it would help the advertising effect of the video and there’s no requirement to label it on most platforms. It was just something I decided to do.
::I didn’t realise Opera was still going. It used to be my main browser many years ago.
Thank you for letting me know. I’ll download it tonight.
::Yes, but it’s cheaper to pay for a new ISP than to keep paying for my existing one AND a VPN on top. Although that depends on the price of the ISP.
Mind you, I might have to get a VPN anyway. The way things are going, we all will.
::Rather than, in future, posting these videos in the forums, I’ve set aside a separate page for them here:
::I will get to this, but haven’t been online much for the past two days. Maybe this weekend?
::A group who already know each other. It seemed a couple of them were rather more enthusiastic than the other two. We hadn’t reached the interview stage, so I’d mostly spoken to the person who originally contacted me. I’d had a little contact on Teams with two of the others but hadn’t spoken enough to get a feel for how serious they were. The leader of the group seemed to assume she could talk the others into it…
::I think the smaller group just dropped out, but the larger group is confident they are still on for May.
I’m looking at rewriting the experiment pages. There are a couple of new approaches I could use, but as the current approach isn’t really working, there’s not much to lose by trying something else. By changing tone and the way I “sell” the benefits, maybe I can get more people interested in taking part.
Of course, I also need to get more people coming here from other sites, but that needs to be tweaked to attract the sort of people who would be interested in taking part in the experiments, especially women.
::I think I’m going to recreate the MDL results table with censored photos. Ultimately there will be links to the uncensored versions but, for now, I’m not sure how to address that. The uncensored version will clearly need to be behind the age-verification wall.
::Just rewatched the video. Lots of room for improvement and I still cringe at the dialogue (will do better next time) but every time I come back to this, I think about the possibilities with this tech. Keeping things consistent is the biggest issue, but I’ve learnt ways to mostly keep that under control. With careful planning, all sorts of things are possible. I’m wondering about going back to the webcam video I did before and doing it again with speech.
I’m not getting any idea of how much interest there is in this. I realise it’s not for everyone but I’m considering creating a separate section of the site (so those not interested can just ignore it as it won’t be in the forums etc.).
Each time I’ve posted one of the videos on social media, it’s caused a spike in traffic here, so that’s useful.
::I’ve lost track of how many versions of this site there have been, and none have fully worked, but I keep persevering. Does anyone remember “KeepItNice.com” (which I think was the first one?)
::I’ve just checked. Firefox and Edge both give the same messed-up layout as Chrome for me. I don’t use Firefox much as it’s SO painfully slow (I know there’s something wrong with it, but several updates later – and a reinstall – and it’s still mega slow). I mostly use Edge and Chrome.
::If I get time over the next couple of days, I might rework the audience clips (If the relevant AIs are in the mood to be helpful, of course!).
::I was just thinking, another thing I’ve learned is not to have smoke in the background of any video.
::So, presented below is the video which I could radically improve by generating the source material in full HD (expensive), needs a LOT more clips (expensive) to iron out glitches and unwanted elements and with a better script (sorry about the terrible script. I didn’t write it in advance but created dialogue on the fly for each 5 second clip). An engine like Pollo.ai or similar could also allow full nudity, which would be vital to produce videos following our nudity theme.Sorry the audience scenes don’t really match (don’t bother looking for the parents, they’re not there!). Due to a shortage of credits, I had to switch over to use Qwen to create the audience scenes. Unless you specify otherwise, it biases to one skin colour. I couldn’t recreate the clips as I’d run out of credits on Qwen too by that time.
The video below doesn’t cover the whole story, but I hope it gives a better idea of what is possible. Imagine this approach used on something like the first long-form video (with nudity, so it’s in the age-verified area).
If I’d known how difficult this was all those years ago, I probably would never have set up the community.
Glad it’s not just me. At least, I’m about 80% of the way back to health after the operation, which has been a miracle given the stress in the rest of my life. The only consolation is that the stress level is beginning to feel normal.
Hope your year gets better soon!
There’s now a video generator with half-decent audio on HuggingFace. It’s not hugely reliable yet, but I’m sure it will improve over time.
Looks like we’re on for May this year! I won’t reveal any details yet, but a report will be forthcoming afterwards. Better still there’s another smaller group interested too. It would be fantastic to get the experiments going again.
It seems to be the in phrase now. Nudity could be offensive, obscene, inappropriate but “harmful” seems impossible to me.
It’s so annoying when you get the resulting clip almost perfect on the first or second go but then you’re still trying to get rid of messed-up speech or weird animation (stuff I can’t edit away) after another 6 attempts.
It all depends on what AI model you are using on Pollo. They have a huge range of them. Most are content-restricted and expensive but some of the cheaper ones are pretty good. The complication is that things keep varying so what works one month may not give the same results or offer the same options a month later. Wan 2.5 on Pollo used to work very well, but I haven’t used it in a few weeks. Pollo 2.5 was total cr*p last time I used it – bizarre distortion, random nonsense and completely inconsistent results. I’m hoping they’ve improved that.
I like the models which allow you to set a start frame and an end frame – that usually gives a LOT more control. You often need to turn the inference up too, and most of the models don’t give you control over that. I’ve found wording is SO important and you often need to specify when something is not doing anything or a person is not speaking just as much as the things or people who are active. Qwen isn’t bad and Grok is very good, but the nudity moderation is pretty strict on both of them (and about to get stricter, I imagine).
Of course, the addition of audio has complicated the entire field, but I’m not giving up yet. I swear all of them have good days and bad days too. Sometimes I can’t get a result on Qwen, but do on Grok or vice versa. Sometimes I end up saving a prompt and using it a day or two later when the AI is in a better mood.
I didn’t once have such a bad day getting videos out of Qwen that I used the prompt “A woman smiling at the camera” with no start frame image and the result got moderated.
Sometimes it feels like a video generator is trying to be infuriating. I tried a clip of a London cabbie telling a nudity-related joke:
- The first go was fine except the joke was too long and the last words were cut off. I reworded it and tried again.
- Go 2 was fine except, for some weird reason the London cab was bouncing all the way through as if someone heavy was repeatedly getting into the back. Added an instruction to keep the cab still.
- Go 3 – saw the back door slide open and then partially shut. That made no sense so I added an instruction to keep the doors shut. It was distracting and the cabbie’s performance wasn’t great.
- Go 4 – the driver’s door opened at the start and the cabbie was (unlike the 1st 4) facing the wrong way. Stipulated which way the cabbie should look and tried again.
- Go 5 – the cab moved perfectly, no doors opened, the cabbie looked at the camera and spoke total gibberish. No idea what he said.
- Go 6 – the cab rocked a little too much but not as badly as 2. Also, the driver’s door opened slightly, but the cabbie’s vocal performance was perfect. I try really hard not to spend too many credits on a single clip so I’m calling it a day there.
I feel that video could easily have been perfect on attempt 2. I’m sure a lot of people think you just tell it what you want and you get a perfect result first time. As I’m trying for more precise output, it’s taking a lot more work (and credits) to get there.
I’ll need to pay £100-200 per month to do these videos with proper uncensored nudity. We need a lot more people to become NE patrons to make that viable.
I’ve got an NSFW one on the way but any nudity is fleeting or minor and snuck through the moderation. If I directly prompt nudity, it gets reliably rejected.
Hmmm… odd. Wan 2.2 seems to be open to nudity and sensible movement again, but the image quality has dropped markedly. I wish I could get more affordable access to Wan 2.5/2.6. And end frames on it. That would be great.
And I certainly won’t be getting a subscription if the UK government is threatening to block X from the country.
I have to feel like I’m achieving something otherwise I’d go mad. After spending 10 days in hospital in November, I’ve been a lot less able to let time just slip by.
I’m trying to get a straight answer on whether Grok Spicy does or doesn’t allow NSFW content. Even their website says both.
Speech synchronisation is still a little wonky, and it varies from video to video. Some of it might be manually correctable with intensive video editing but I’m not going there.
Another advantage of these short clips is that the lack of consistency with voices isn’t a problem. If I create two video clips with the same characters in them, the AIs cannot be relied upon to be consistent with the voices produced.
Grok seems much more reliable on lip-sync than Qwen, but models are constantly being upgraded so that can change quickly.
All completely AI creations. Very detailed prompts, cherry-picking the results (I picked the best 20 videos out of 56 created), and an element of luck combined to generate these.
Unlike the previous couple of videos I worked on, these clips were created by Grok and Qwen, mostly via my mobile in spare moments. As I’ve spent a lot of time in hospital waiting rooms lately, it seemed like a good use of time when I don’t have my laptop available.
As I’ve (temporarily) given up on Pollo (trying to rebuild some credits), I had a mess around again with Grok imagine and Qwen. They’re both pretty well locked down when it comes to nudity, so I went down a different route (but still on topic):
It would be good if more people would consider sharing their stories.
My aim now is to get the momentum back up after the Christmas/New Year’s lull.
I’m giving up for a while. I’m just getting hilarious results across several generators. Even using HuggingFace with the old reliable Wan 2.2 (with start + end frames) is acting up, largely ignoring prompts and doing its own mad things which don’t even end on the “end” frame. I don’t know what’s going on.
I just spent my last credits trying to get Pollo 2.5 to produce a scene from a starting picture. Yet again it seems to be deliberately buggering it up. I got dialogue produced perfectly except both times the opposite person said each line, which makes zero sense, and an item of clothing which I prompted as being pushed down her legs both times was stretched comedically upwards leaving an identical item of clothing in its place.
Also, I’m finding it really hard to work without being able to set an end frame. It’s SO much more cost-effective and reliable to be able to set a start frame and an end frame.
Pollo 2.5 seems good with female nudity but I’m having huge problems getting to follow instructions. It feels like it deliberately finds a new and small way to completely ruin each clip.
I’m trying to build a longer video with 2 female TV presenters and an audience in a studio. First it insisted on adding huge headsets to the presenters, then it would make the audience look anywhere except at the presenters. For one clip the presenters suddenly developed west country accents, then one of them took of a bra and had it immediately turn into a large sheet as she dropped it on the stage. An attempt to make the audience clap in response to something the presenter said resulted in the audience repeating the same words in unison. I’ve also had one presenter morph into two, one the presenters change hair colour mid 5-second clip and remove a bra to reveal a denim t-shirt “underneath”. It’s been very costly on credits.
I’ve also had the “third party service report inappropriate content” error when the presenters were simply introducing themselves, but not when clothes were removed. It’s very inconsistent and I’ve now run out of credits.
It seems that the resistance to nudity jumped upwards significantly in the past few days. It’s hard to be sure (I could just be unlucky recently) but I’m definitely wasting my limited credits on failed attempts. One 6-second clip has so far gone 11 attempts without success, leaving me with insufficient credits to complete the whole video this month (and probably not next month). The most common outcome is extra clothing appearing (that hasn’t happened in months) or bizarre unrealistic animation where limbs or spines rotate impossibly.
I’m going to give it a break – see if things improve.
Just checked. I don’t have a record of the name but it did involve a photo with your partner. No photos were submitted.
Wasn’t it naked with your partner?
It caused a right kerfuffle. It didn’t matter what assurances I made about consent, a few people were convinced consent wasn’t possible.
Cool. Lots of ideas. Now I need to generate a lot more videos.
I’ll see if I can focus on stuff that would not be possible for us to achieve in reality.
I know some people disagree with the use of systems like this but videos that simply would not be possible otherwise, simply won’t exist without this.
Those of you familiar with my second generated video might appreciate this, to give a taster of what may be possible very soon:
The last one didn’t work properly. The gameshow host sounds a little rough (but acceptible) but one of the women is supposed to be saying “This is so embarrassing” and another should have said “I can’t believe it!” but we got an unintelligible babble.
Sorry I didn’t have time to post preview images for these, but in this case I think that works better.
And one last one:
I know the dress motion is rubbish but I ran out of credits before I could try a few potential corrections.
I should point out that Qwen firmly blocks attempts at nudity or mature topics. Some amount of underwear slips through but you have to be very careful how you phrase things. Also, only about 1 in 3 videos is coherent and makes sense.
Cool. I’d appreciate it if you e-mailed them to me, if you don’t mind then being used on the site, to consider for the section.
I’ve been meaning to watch the Cardiff WNBR for the past few years but every time it’s landed on a really bad weekend for me. On one occasion I had flu that weekend and could barely stand up let alone travel into the city. Fingers crossed I can see the 2026 one. It would be great to have a section on the site discussing the WNBR with some photos to illustrate it.
That link won’t play for me. None of the videos on that site play in Chrome, Firefox or Edge for me.
Does the copy I posted in this forum work for everyone? I shouldn’t leave it up as it needs to be in the age-restricted area.
