Sorry if there are any outages or slow periods for the site. Someone is trying to get into the admin account right now. The security systems are blocking around 25 IP addresses every 2-3 minutes, which is keeping the site safe, but there’s a much higher-than-normal activity rate on the server and the attack may be big enough to cause the server to lock down to protect itself.

The “attack” has been going on for 3 days now, just at a low level so I don’t believe we’ve suffered any service issues. The security systems have blocked a LOT of IP addresses and the attacker seems to be going after two usernames that don’t exist. That’s going to make it hard to brute force a login.

Well, it seems the ongoing attack went mad overnight (4x increase in password attempts) and then stopped in the early hours. Hopefully they’ve given up now.
