While it’s not what you intended, this could serve as a thread to debate the oddities of the forum.
::Interesting — and now we can’t edit either. I’m glad you posted this as I have learned something.
::So there are different situations for nudity. I don’t feel a naturist setting (usually full of fairly average older people) is a “naughty” situation. This is where the awareness of what’s normal, can help people with body positivity.
How does that compare with the MDL type dares? Well for some people who start off uncomfortable even with private nudity, the basic MDL dares are going to expand their experience a little — but there’s much come a point when a line is crossed? On the other side of the equation — models posing nude to get an acting job/agent?
Only fans type video streaming as an income source?
Strip clubs that claim not to be fronts for prostitution, but purely a way for girls to make money?
This if the debate that I see as being at the heart of this site. It’s not a simple answer.
I’m certainly not joining in anything in Aldi!
::I think we’re quite able to speak up if we don’t like something.
If you think about it, we have just proved the point by objecting to the dislike button!
::Since it was anonymous, you could have 5 positives and 3 negatives and all you get is the impression that only 2 people voted?
::I got a message that you sent yesterday. I had a very busy day and didn’t see it until this afternoon.
::I don’t really like the dislike, because on forums that allow dislikes, there’s generally somebody who will abuse it.
I understand that, but we are a small group. I think we can behave.
::It’s interesting to see how this works. Clicking like adds a like, clicking again removes the like.
Clicking negative after doing a like takes it straight to -1 rather than back to zero, but clicking the negative again gets it to zero effect.
It’s useful, but anonymous. Is the poster notified of what votes the post receives?

It’s useful, but anonymous.::That’s interesting. I think I have liked that twice, because it works when not logged in, then again after I logged in?
Actually, I don’t think it’s counting votes when not logged in, but can we see who voted or liked the post?
::I’ve sent some screenshots to Ed via teams so that he can get an idea of what it looks like on a phone.
::I figure that I’m seeing age verified members, then separately “age verified patrons?”
I do all this on a phone and what I type isn’t always visible to proof-read before I press send!::I hate to get rid of editing if there is already no way to bin or delete a post. The attachments are capped very small, but somehow it’s being offered in the edit screen? I always make typos and go back to edit.
There’s a similar issue in the age verified forum. At first the attachment limit is 2MB, but when you go in to edit, the attachment is capped at 512KB. This looks like editing might be linked to the permission to add a 512KB file!::So presumably that picture is proof that you can still upload attachments? I seem to see the option occasionally, but not every time?
I can see the age verified forums now. Ed started that he would automatically verify people who were clearly the same people he’d verified on the old site. It’s not like we’re getting any younger!
Attachments:
You must be logged in to view attached files.::No bin link, and no attachment option this time, but it was there before, with a limit of 512KB.
::So it still allows attachments, but they need to be very small files. Did you intend attachments to be allowed here Ed?
I thought it was to be text only for users?::The software told me I was replying to post number 699 but then it lists the reply it at the end of the discussion so it’s not obvious to the reader that I was replying to a specifc post from @Jesss – I’ll try to remember that in future (but clarity was never a strong point!
Generally, I like new replies at the bottom of a thread. I’ve tried copy and pasting what I’m replying to this time.
::But I can understand some possibly reasons for restricting people editing posts after they have been seen and reacted to.
::And I see that I can edit a typo if I notice fairly quickly, but the edit function is only available for a short time after the initial posting.
::I’ve never actually played any kind of strip game. I’d like to, but only if it has no way of coming back and biting me in real life at some point. I don’t have friends I’d do this with, and I didn’t when I was younger either.
I’m interested to see the option to post an attachment. I thought that was going to me only in the verified forum?
::I agree that you can’t post photos of people who don’t explicitly consent to moving the lift over here — but the X in place of a photo is also a question? You had a thread on the old community about not wanting to continue the option to be listed in the MDL without visible photo as evidence. It looks likely to start off as a very short list.
::Yes, that video content is interesting.
I struggle with all the blog content being on here though as I really do react to the photos in a strange way. Also, if anyone sees what’s on my phone, it might not be full nudity, but definitely NSFW. I can understand why it’s a site full of men, and I can’t really expect to feel that comfortable as a woman I suppose. -
