Okay, the down button is gone. I should say I do like the down vote button. It avoids that forced positivity issue. With just the up button, if 10 people like a suggestion and 50 don’t like it, those 50 are forced to either say something negative (not likely if they all have the same/similar objections) or keep quiet, probably giving a false impression. I suppose the only way it can still work is if someone explains why it’s a bad idea and then the other 49 like the objection instead.
