I’m wondering about reducing the non-restricted forums down from three to two. There just isn’t enough activity to just justify all three of them. As part of that I will probably redirect the “help” forum to the NE Teams channel as it will allow more direct help when needed, but also take into account that it’s rare for anyone to need help. Most help I provide is with logging in or opening an account. The help forum doesn’t help with either of those.

It wasn’t all that long ago (before the last site revamp) that we had 12 forums.

I remember all the old forums well. But there’s so little interaction these days, it hardly seems much point in having anything other than a general, all-purpose one?
And I still don’t really understand why the interactions have tailed off. Is it the new design of the site, the MDL, the whole issue of age-verification? It’s a shame because the old forums were much more fun. As is, I can’t imagine there being sufficient interest in another clothes-off vote thing.
Like I say, a great shame.

The old site had many regulars who interacted frequently. There were hundreds of other visitors, but it had a strong core of frequent posters. Our current site gets nearly as many “other” visitors but has been less effective at persuading people to sign up for a free account. However, the worst thing is we’ve lost the majority of the posting regulars.
Some of that is the age-verification, but many left before that was introduced.

Is there anything the alphabet game or something similar that could be used to drive up engagement and posting.
The MDL is quite rigid in what is required. Perhaps a different take on the idea of getting naked somehow could be easier for people to get involved. I’m not saying replace the MDL but introduce a new thread each week with a letter of the alphabet. Then you have to try and be naked somewhere which starts with that letter of the alphabet. I’m sure there are many other games like that we could do.
You can have an image free thread and an image thread behind the age restriction. But keep the image thread just for photos and have people comment on the main thread where they went to get naked.
If you start with A then you have a load of examples.
ASDA, if they have changing rooms then it’s pretty much safe as can be. Could be next to an apple tree.
Could be next to a road sign with an angle.
I think it helps to make challenges more accessible if people can pick more options to complete them. It will also hopefully show how creative some of us can be.
Maybe lock the threads at the end of week they are in.
Doesnt need a table of who did what. It’s more just about trying to get people talking more and sharing

I think that suggestion could work. My only reservation is that we had something quite similar before the Master Dare List (Weekly Dare Challenge) but it was a lot of work. I used to receive a lot of PMs and e-mails from people demanding to know why the threads had been locked (even though it said at the bottom of each thread), and when they weren’t locked, it was difficult to keep track of all the submissions (and to stop people posting stuff nicked from the web). The MDL was designed to solve the problems suffered by the weekly challenge.
Also, I’m not here consistently. Most days I’m around several times in the day, but I occasionally have weeks when I’ve got no time available. If we did it in some way where the weeks don’t have to be consecutive, that could work?

I don’t think you need to start it and if locking threads is an issue just leave them open. Just needs the first person who does a challenge in the week to post a new thread with the letter of the week going alphabetically.
Just an idea try to liven it up a bit again..not seeing many of the old faces talking here any more. Would be cool to talk to some of them again

I’ve tried to get quite a few of them to come back (mostly a couple of months after the site moved here) but almost no success at all on that front.
If anyone is in contact with anyone, please encourage them to come back!

As for new nude experiments, I think the A-Z suggestion is good in theory. In practice? I hate to be ‘that guy’ but I can’t see it happening with the current level of interaction? There are a few regulars, me included, but the new members, judging by the members list, register but never log on again? Lots of new names and aliases…then “last logged on 2 months ago”. And sadly I still don’t know what the answer is? Old site, with no age check, the MDL was a reason to keep logging on, and the vote-offs were great fun and I spent quite a lot to get one participant totally stripped nude….now? Too many rules and regulations none of which are within Ed’s control. And what happened to the recent meet up proposal? That went quiet really quickly.
The thing is, I can’t see the site getting back to the old levels and being fun unless something drastic happens. And I genuinely wish I knew what that ‘something’ was.

The MDL pictures need to be restored as fast as possible. This site is about being naked with no real people naked. Even if they are men, get real naked people back on the site. The thought that naked men turn people away.,. Well at least they are real people and really naked. What we have now is a website about being naked with no one being naked..

I would recommend putting an example of Vote Off 8 showing the last photos of how participants ended up. If you can’t get permission from participants, you are welcome to show how I lost and ended up everybody seeing me completely butt ass naked.

I just don’t think there’s enough interest to be honest? It’s a shame because they were great fun, but now the misguided UK legislation would make it almost impossible to manage, surely?

No. It would need to be inside the age-verified section, obviously, but I think it could be done.

The law changes are almost certainly a killer of the interaction on here. We use to have a few regular posters talking about an event thyd done and sharing photos or even video. I know it’s not difficult to get verified and it’s not difficult to select a different forum to upload to bit it is a change. That law change and the rebuild of the site basically gave people a chance to rethink their choices. That’s fair enough but it’s not great for the site.

Every time the law changes here in the UK in a way that affects this site, it’s always negative. It’s depressing. We keep adapting and complying but I fear it’s only a matter of time before the government squashes us completely. There are rumours they plan to ban VPNs or add some sort of mandatory ID requirement for them. I suspect that will kill the online adult industry in the UK (we might see physical media make a return!).

Agreed. So it begs the question, however awkward it might be, is it worth keeping the site going? There’s no content anymore that compels me personally to log on, but I am enjoying the private messages with friends I’ve made here…that keeps me logging on.

If others were sharing I might consider doing more pure nudity challenges but i currently just do more things tjat seem fun.-
I was seriously considering uploading a video of a recent challenge somewhere. But using automatic tracking software to pixelate is so poor. I really don’t have time to keyframe 15 minutes of video.
I’ll try another day and do a write up for here as well so hopefully will have something different to share as a topic for discussion in a Couple of days. I got 5 letters (maybe more) of the alphabet done in one 15 minute video sort of.
