Has anyone come across a BBC Horizon programme from 2009 called “What’s the problem with nudity?” I’ve seen it referred to but not seen it. Sounds like it fits in with this site.

That video used to be linked on the old version of this site. But probably the site it pointed to no longer hosts the video.
BBC itself used to have it on iPlayer, according to http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7915369.stm. But a search on iPlayer no longer finds it.

Nothing changed using the original link. WordPress is still saying unauthorised.
Wordpress is presumably finding either a file or a folder at https :// nakedexperiment.com/age-verified/whats-the-problem-with-nudity/ otherwise it would say not found rather than unauthorised.
Most of the age verified videos are hosted on vimeo rather than here. Are there any other videos in https :// nakedexperiment.com/age-verified/ which are currently working?

I have to say I thought it was a very good program and I even saved it to my hard drive just in case it gets deleted. It reminds me of my own novel, the big naked social Experiment, where you have a group of people where some of them have to get naked and the others get to stay dressed. It was an interesting exploration as to why people feel uncomfortable with nudity from an evolutionary standpoint, because since we started wearing clothes it became such a part of our identity and the social contract that being stripped of your clothing automatically leaves you feeling vulnerable and sexualized, it’s a breach of the social contract so being naked makes you feel like you are sexually available to everybody or that your body is available to everybody and it sort of a deeply submissive feeling I suppose. I thought it was really interesting the part where they were scanning where people’s eyes were focusing where it does seem like people look at body shape and things of that nature to determine someone’s sexual availability, and it was also interesting that men were more attracted to women who were in the highest fertility part of their menstrual cycle. So it does suggest that there is something about nudity that is programmed into us, and it’s an unnatural state for most people, it was interesting because the people in the program, even after they became comfortable with each other after a day or two were still kind of happy to put their clothing back on because I think there’s something about nudity that just feels unnatural especially when you are in a social situation.

Does the copy I posted in this forum work for everyone? I shouldn’t leave it up as it needs to be in the age-restricted area.

The embedded video in post #1927 works for me, but the original simple link in post #1916 does not.
Could you perhaps try copying the content of #1927 into a new post in the age verified forum? That should create a new thread on the age verified forum page where we can test it. If that works, it might then also be possible to link from here to that new thread, rather than direct to the video itself.

I found that the link works fine for me in Firefox although the embedded video that you put didn’t work for me when I tried it the other day, which is why I googled it and found it on that other website, but now when I click play on the link that you put in this topic here now it does play fine for me.
