    The examples above are much much better than I was expecting. Far better than most announcements we hear every day in stations, trains and buses:

    • random gaps appear in the middle of a phrase but sentences get run together without any pause for commas and full stops
    • unimportant words like and get stronger emphasis than the things that need emphasis
    • “eggzit here for … ” which sounds fine the first time you here it, but becomes annoying after you’ve heard it 993 times.

    Of course, that’s based on the results you published. I’m sure you also had plenty of others just as bad as those transport examples.
